Good afternoon, I’ve been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and I have the physical tests for the national police in 20 days. I’d like to know what method you recommend or if there are any foot orthoses that might help me. I’m from Malaga. Regards

Good afternoon Ruben,

If you have been diagnosed with PLANTAR FASCIITIS, at Biomech Consulting we understand that you have a pain on the sole of your foot on the inner side of your heel or even in the inner arch, and that this was the diagnosis of a healthcare professional. A characteristic of plantar fasciitis is that it hurts as soon as you wake up when you put your foot on the floor; as the foot warms up (by walking), it hurts less, and when it cools down the intense pain returns.

If you feel pain in those places, you should go to a specialist podiatry clinic for a complete BIOMECHANICAL STUDY to determine THE CAUSE of your plantar fasciitis and get a fully bespoke treatment for it. You should probably also go to other professionals to achieve a more speedy recovery such as a physiotherapist and combine both treatments (functional insoles and physiotherapy) to get better as quickly as possible.

It is important to distinguish plantar fasciitis from a possible calcaneal spur; these pathologies may exist independently in one or both feet, or in combination. The treatment would be different, so it is important to make this aspect clear.

Biomech Consulting can help you by recommending some of our customers in the area where you live that use our technology and insoles so that you can recover as soon as possible.

Regards
